The iLs Focus System (Integrated Listening System) is a multisensory program that supports brain and body integration through specially filtered music, movement, and bone conduction. It’s particularly helpful for challenges with sensory processing, learning, motor coordination, emotional regulation, and attention.

By gently stimulating multiple areas of the brain, iLs strengthens communication between the auditory, vestibular, and visual systems—key networks involved in learning, development, and nervous system regulation.

🌿 Who is iLs Focus for?

iLs can support both children and adults who are navigating:

• Sensory processing challenges

• Autism, ADHD, or other neurodivergences

• Learning differences (e.g., dyslexia, slow processing)

• Motor delays or coordination issues

• Developmental trauma or complex trauma

• Anxiety, shutdown, or emotional dysregulation

• Concussion recovery or brain injury

• Auditory hypersensitivities or processing difficulties

Many families I work with include iLs as part of a broader support plan and notice improvements not just in function, but also in confidence, connection, and overall resilience.

🧠 How iLs Focus Works

The program uses music that’s been acoustically modified to promote neural organization, delivered through bone conduction headphones. This allows sound to travel through both the ears and the bones of the skull—enhancing sensory processing and regulation.

Alongside the music, the Focus System includes gentle movement exercises and visual activities designed to strengthen the nervous system’s ability to adapt, regulate, and coordinate. Together, these elements help build a more resilient and efficient foundation for learning, attention, and emotional balance.

iLs Focus includes several programs, each targeting specific areas of development:

• Calm & Connect – for emotional regulation and resilience

• Sensory & Motor – for sensory integration and coordination

• Concentration & Attention – to support focus, working memory, and executive functioning

• Reading & Auditory Processing – for sound discrimination and language processing

• Optimal Performance – for high-functioning individuals seeking to enhance performance, mental clarity, and stress recovery

Programs can be customized to suit individual goals, whether developmental, regulatory, or performance-based.

With a background in clinical social work, trauma healing, and nervous system regulation - as well as lived experience with neurodivergence and brain injury - I offer attuned, personalized guidance for even the most sensitive systems.

Many providers simply hand over the equipment. I take the time to ensure that pacing, activities, and expectations are matched to the unique needs of your child—or yourself. iLs can be powerful, but only when introduced in a way the nervous system can truly receive.

I also integrate iLs with other modalities like SSP, NeurOptimal®, RRP, and Somatic Experiencing when deeper or more layered support is needed.

📦 Accessing iLs Focus

iLs Focus is available as part of customized rental packages. iLs systems can be picked up from my location near Paris Ontario, or shipped via FedEx within Canada. If you’re outside Canada, please reach out—options may still be available.

Pricing options:

• First month: $400

• Additional months (pay-as-you-go): $160/month

• 6-month access: $960

• 12-month access: $1440
